Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
* Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly of various plumbing components.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
* Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion.
* Handle heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing materials and fixtures.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of construction practices and plumbing techniques.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to plumbing work.
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
* Mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems is a plus.
* Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and materials used in plumbing installations.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
* Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
* Previous maintenance person experience is advantageous for additional service offerings.
