The Role – Mortgage Paraplanner This is a key position for someone who enjoys managing specialist mortgage cases from enquiry through to completion. You’ll support advisers by preparing case files, structuring lending proposals, gathering documentation and ensuring each application is packaged to the highest standard before submission. You’ll coordinate with lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients, ensuring a smooth, timely and professional journey for every case specialising in complex BTL. Key Responsibilities Support advisers in structuring and preparing specialist BTL, HMO and portfolio landlord cases. Produce high‑quality case packs, lender research, sourcing outputs and suitability‑aligned documentation. Package and submit applications, ensuring all lender-specific requirements are met from outset. Act as a primary point of contact for lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients throughout the process. Track case progression, provide updates, and identify potential delays or missing information early. Maintain accurate, complete and compliant case files aligned with internal processes and industry expectations. Work closely with advisers to ensure every client receives a smooth, professional and well‑managed experience. Confidence dealing with lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple active cases. High attention to detail, particularly around documentation, packaging and data accuracy. Comfortable using CRMs, lender portals and mortgage sourcing platforms.
