What You'll Bring:
We’re looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our growing team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Day to Day You’ll Be:
1. Joining an established team responsible for our Web and batch tracing products.
2. Collaborating closely with database and software engineers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs through both manual and automated testing.
3. Participating in Agile development ceremonies such as planning, task refinement, and retrospectives.
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to support effective communication and delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5. Track record years of relevant work experience in software testing area
6. Knowledge of test automation techniques and tools (ideally reqnroll and/or selenium)
7. Experience of using Microsoft SQL server
8. Effective test design, test planning and scheduling capability
9. Web service and/or relational database testing experience
10. Knowledge of source control
11. Strong problem solving skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
12. Experience of using Postman/Insomnia for API testing
13. Experience of working in an Agile development team
14. Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders including operational teams.
15. Ability to take initiative for improvements, identifying and mitigating risks
