KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or applying primer to ensure proper adhesion and surface finish. Apply protective coatings, finishes, or paints to surfaces using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other application methods according to specifications and quality standards. Monitor coating processes, including coating thickness, drying times, and curing temperatures, to ensure proper application and adherence to specifications. Inspect coated surfaces for defects, such as bubbles, runs, or uneven coverage, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results. Mix coating materials, including paints, varnishes, and sealants, according to formulation instructions and industry standards. Maintain coating equipment and tools, including cleaning, calibrating, and performing routine maintenance, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
