About The Role
Role Function
* Wire electrical control panels and switchgear systems to engineering drawings and schematics
* Install and terminate cables, components, and control devices
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans
* Carry out point-to-point wiring and functional checks
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with industry regulations
* Identify and report faults, defects, or non-conformances
* Work closely with mechanical fitters and supervisors to meet production deadlines
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
The person:
* Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrician, or Electrical Assembler
* Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings
* Experience with panel wiring, cable termination, and component installation
* High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience in switchgear, power distribution, or control systems
* Relevant electrical qualification or apprenticeship
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, BS standards)
* Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
