What You'll Be Doing
* Lead Store & Warehouse Operations: Oversee inventory, deliveries, and ensure efficient material handling.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships, negotiate favourable terms, and secure competitive pricing.
* Stock Control Systems: Implement and manage electronic inventory systems to streamline operations.
* Purchasing & Procurement: Source materials, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery for projects.
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop warehouse staff, conduct appraisals, and foster a collaborative environment.
* Project Support: Ensure project bays are stocked accurately and support both small works and large-scale installations.
* Proven experience in stock control, buying, or warehouse management.
* Strong negotiation skills and supplier engagement.
* Ability to implement and manage inventory systems.
* Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities.
* Commitment to health & safety and quality standards.
