Research Support Officer
Salary Range £42,159 to £47,071 per annum
Fixed-term until 30 April 2030
MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK
We are looking to recruit a Research Support Officer to join a multi‑centre collaborative project, SynHG, funded by the Wellcome Trust. The work will be located at LMB and supervised by Dr. Julian Sale with Dr. Jason Chin at the University of Oxford. You will work on developing and applying foundational methods for the synthesis of large genomes, specifically the human genome. You should have a Masters in a relevant biological or physical science and relevant experience in a laboratory‑based role.
