Senior Compliance Manager - Monitoring and Reporting – Salary circa £70,000
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior compliance professional to join our newly established Group Compliance Monitoring and Reporting team! This is a fantastic role for a proactive team player with extensive experience working in an FCA regulated environment in a compliance / conduct risk position. A bit about the job:
You will report to and support the Head of Group Compliance and Conduct Monitoring and Reporting and Group Compliance and Conduct Director to ensure the function operates effectively, adds value, and contributes positively across the organization.
You will be responsible for supporting the establishment and operation of the newly created Group Compliance Monitoring and Reporting team within Group Compliance and Conduct.
As part of the role, you will:
* Assess the effectiveness of 1st line compliance programs, perform targeted, risk-based monitoring reviews across group functions, and produce insightful reports to optimize controls and ensure good customer outcomes.
* Support the development of monitoring standards and innovative approaches, including data and technology integration, benefiting Markets and Group Functions.
* Assist in producing insightful Regulatory Compliance and Conduct reports for the Group Board Risk Committee and Group Customer and Sustainability Committee, and prepare other reports as needed.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration on regulatory compliance and conduct matters. Deliver training on these topics as required.
* Support Solvency II compliance reviews, if necessary.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Experienced Financial Services professional with direct experience in Conduct and Compliance teams.
* Curiosity and experience in developing methodologies and frameworks.
* A successful record in assurance and investigative work, drafting meaningful reports for senior stakeholders.
* Experience or curiosity in using data to inform and enhance work targeting.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence decision-making.
