Our client, a leading international legal business, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to support their Bids and BD activity, generating business growth for the organisation. Your role will include assisting on larger bids and taking sole responsibility for delivering standard questionnaires and proactive capability documents. You will also play a key role in the continuous improvement of processes.
Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include supporting the team with major bids, forming part of the bid project team and carrying out tasks. You will produce pre-qualification questionnaires and due diligence questionnaires, engaging with colleagues across the business as appropriate. You will maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of iing bids, current bids and BD opportunities and provide detailed monthly reports. You will proofread and format bids and BD documents, in line with style guides. You will support managers with internal risk management procedures and conflict-checking processes, handling confidential information with the organisation's data security protocols.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be passionate about playing a part in the strategic growth of an ambitious organisation. You will have a keen interest in professional bid and business development skills and activities, with experience of preparing pre-qualification and due diligence questionnaires. You will have an understanding of project management techniques, and be experienced in creating and managing project plans, with experience of managing multiple tasks and concurrent deadlines. You will have strong writing, proofreading and editing skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences and channels. You will have experience of takingprehensive meeting notes and have knowledge of general design principles. You will also have goodmunication skills, be able to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, and you will have excellent attention to detail.
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent position with an annual salary of £28,000 - £35,000. There are high levels of flexibility and the role can be worked entirely remotely.
