This role will focus on technically detailed substation and piled raft structure projects, supporting design delivery across complex engineering schemes within a flexible contract environment. The position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for an Outside IR35 opportunity with the flexibility to work remotely while supporting long-term infrastructure workloads. The Role You'll be involved in: Delivering structural design across substation and infrastructure projects Supporting piled raft foundation and structural package delivery Producing calculations, reports and technical design information Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams Supporting project delivery through technical stages Assisting with structural analysis and technical coordination activities What They're Looking For Experience as a Structural Engineer within UK consultancy environments Strong structural design capability Experience supporting infrastructure or heavy engineering projects Knowledge of piled raft or foundation structures Strong technical coordination and communication skills Ability to work independently within a contract environment Substation or power sector experience would be highly beneficial.
