Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure & Development) THE ROLE: Shaping Infrastructure in the South West This is a pivotal appointment for a Chartered Senior Project Manager looking to play a leading role in the continued growth of our client’s Gloucester office. You will be the technical anchor for significant developments, with a specific focus on infrastructure, strategic land, and large-scale residential schemes. Our client offers a collaborative, high-momentum environment. They are seeking a confident leader who can operate as a visible, reliable point of contact for clients, managing both complex project delivery and the strategic development of the local team. RESPONSIBILITIES Project Leadership: Own the full project life-cycle, ensuring compliance with time, budget, and quality standards. Infrastructure Focus: Lead on complex projects specifically within civils and infrastructure sectors. Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison, driving repeat business through strong relationships and local market knowledge. Commercial & Contractual Management: Provide technical consultancy across pre- and post-contract stages; manage complex contracts, including NEC, JCT, and ICC. Risk & Control: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks; manage budgets, cost control, and value engineering. Team Development: Support the Project Management Partner by mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative office culture. Candidate Profile We are looking for a proactive professional who possesses the following: Sector Specialism: Strong, demonstrable experience within civils and infrastructure delivery is ESSENTIAL. Development Exposure: Previous work within strategic land, utilities, or large-scale residential developments. Professional Background: Proven experience in a consultancy or client-side project management environment. Technical Qualifications: Must hold a professional qualification (MCIOB, MRICS, APM, or equivalent). Skills: Expert in managing multiple stakeholders and high-level project teams. Proficiency in scheduling tools (Asta Power Project / MS Project) is highly advantageous. SALARY & BENEFITS Salary: Competitive, £50,000 – £65,000 (D.O.E.). Annual Leave: 30 days plus bank holidays.
