Mission Systems Engineer Duration: 12 Months Rate: £60 ph PAYE Holiday pay or £81.05 Umbrella Location: Warton or Brough You will be part of the Mission Systems Delivery Team (MSDT) delivering the Assessment Phase of the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme. The team uses an agile work planning process to develop mission system concept options, architectures and designs for the various components of a future combat air system. Your main responsibilities will involve: You will get the opportunity to develop the next generation of mission systems across the engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to design, development and implementation. The successful candidate could be expected to support the following activities for mission systems as part of a multi-functional engineering team: • Concepting • Architecting • Requirements management • Design • Testing • Safety • Cyber Security • Qualification and certification You will be positioned as and where needed on any of these activities. The role will also require you to: • Support team meetings / DSUMs / Agile reviews • Support the creation of Engineering documents that form part of the Systems Engineering process Responsibilities • Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab)
