We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual / CNC Turner on behalf of a well-established specialist engineering and manufacturing company. The business is known for delivering low-volume, high-performance, bespoke solutions for demanding sectors including aerospace, automotive, energy, and oil & gas, with the majority of its products supplied to international markets.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-precision components in a clean, well-organised production environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manufacturing one-off and small-batch complex precision-machined components from aerospace-grade materials
* Setting and operating manual and CNC turning (and/or milling) machines
* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Working with Fanuc, Siemens, or XYZ controls
* Inspecting and measuring components using precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges
* Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process
Key Skills & Requirements
* Minimum of five years’ experience working as a Turner in a precision machining environment
* Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings
* Proven ability to produce complex components to tight tolerances efficiently and accurately
* A quality-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
* A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to work

* Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4.30pm
* Friday: 7.30am – 12.30pm
