Job Opportunity: Consultant Psychiatrist CAMHS Location: London Salary: Competitive Hours: Full-Time Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join a successful Neurodevelopmental Team. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality psychiatric care for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders. Participate in service and business planning activities, contributing to the development of mental health services in the locality. Engage in monthly CAMHS Consultant meetings and other relevant professional gatherings. Co-lead the Neurodevelopmental Team with a consultant psychologist, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including other consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and allied health professionals. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care. Opportunity to engage in research activities, with support for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Qualifications: Full GMC registration with a licence to practice. On the GMC Specialist Register, or within 3 months of completion. Section 12(2) MHA approval or close to completion.
