Position: Maths Teacher
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for highly motivated Teachers to work in schools in and around Welwyn Garden City. Working in a variety of our client schools with their teams of enthusiastic Maths teachers, to provide top quality lessons to help improve the students’ knowledge and skills on the subject.
About the role
The suitable candidate will be required to plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons to the students of all ages and levels across Key stages, 3, 4 and 5. You will also need to set homework tasks, mark their work and help prepare the students for exams. Your lessons and teaching should help equip the students with skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
The successful candidate will ideally share the aims of wanting to inspire students into becoming interested in the subject through their love for Maths, and exciting lessons also therefore helping to provide extensive understanding of the subject.
Requirements
* Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
* Strong Classroom Management
* High level understanding of mathematical concepts across various levels
* Exceptional communication skills to make complex ideas accessible to students of all ages
* A child only enhanced DBS
* An overseas police clearance (If applicable)
* Qualifications in the subject would be ideal

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
