Role: Crew Member
As a Crew Member, you’ll contribute to providing the best customer experience through hot food prepared to standard, friendly service, and a clean environment. You will consistently deliver the highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness in the restaurant and work as a supportive team member. Responsibilities include:
* Provide friendly, fast and accurate service at the till and in the dining areas.
* Prepare food to training guidelines and company standards.
* Follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures.
* Treat all customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
Shifts, Pay, and Benefits
We are preferentially looking for candidates available to start between 4am/5am and to work midnight onwards. If you work overnights, there is added pay: £2 per hour. Our benefits package includes holiday pay, service awards, meal allowance, employee discounts from top brands, and more. All team members earn above the national minimum wage, with additional benefits including holiday and sick pay and discounts at over 1,600 retailers. Hours vary by location, with many restaurants open 24 hours and shifts scheduled to suit business needs and regulatory requirements.

Pay frequency varies by restaurant type (franchised vs. company-owned): typically every 2 or 4 weeks for hourly employees, or monthly for salaried employees. Our restaurant hours range from location to location and staffing aims to provide shifts that suit you while meeting business needs. Uniforms are provided. We promote internal advancement and encourage talent to grow within the business. The minimum age to work at McDonald’s varies by location.
