Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing provider in Bristol, who are looking to appoint a Planned Works Surveyor on a 12 Month FTC.
This will be a full-time position based in Bristol, with travel expected across the region. The annual salary for the role is £42,500 + a car allowance.
The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned works surveys, managing contractors, and undertaking post inspections.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Delivering planned and cyclical home investment works in line with service delivery targets, KPIs, and approved budgets.
* Managing contracts for home investment programmes, including planned maintenance, cyclical works, and major repairs
* Leading the delivery of major works projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and value for money
* Undertaking asset and condition surveys to inform investment planning and programme development
* Preparing detailed specifications, drawings, and contract documentation to support home investment programmes
* Supporting procurement activities, including tender evaluation, contract award, and mobilisation, in line with procurement strategy and best practice
* Monitoring contractor performance to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, on programme, and within budget
Experience required:
* Experience required in Social Housing
* Experience dealing with tenders, and procurement
* Experience delivering planned works
* Experience overseeing contractors
Working hours:
* 37.5 hours per week
* Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
