The ideal candidate will provide invaluable support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Autism, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and those who communicate using Makaton. Responsibilities: Assist in implementing individual education plans for SEN students Support students in their learning activities and foster independence Provide one-on-one support to students facing behavioural challenges Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals Required Qualifications: TA Level 2 qualification TA Level 3 qualification HLTA qualification Skills: Compassion and empathy towards students with SEN Proficiency in effective behaviour management techniques Patience and sensitivity in addressing students' needs Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Additional training in Makaton communication Working Conditions: Full-time hours, contractual position Salary range of £83 - £90 per day Work in an educational setting dedicated to students with SEN All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
