Role: Barrow Operative - Line Assortments
Working Hours: Monday - Friday am - pm and pm - pm, alternate weeks, both A & B shifts available

What will this role achieve?
Barrow Operatives are accountable for ensuring that the line is fully stocked, running smoothly, and have good communication with the Supervisor. They will work closely with key operators and the Supervisor regarding any issues to achieve the production plan that ensures customer supply. Tasks include operating electric hand barrows, flexibility, and good communication skills. All training will be provided.
The role requires a proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is committed to maintaining high standards in production and working as part of a dynamic team. Moving lines across the factory as required.
What will be your key deliverables?
* Ordering pawns/layaside
* Ordering packaging requests
* Complete stock sheets (assortments only)
* Keep the line stocked up
* Inform your Manager if you have out-of-date stock
* Barcoding
* Waste collection and waste control
* Documenting all data on Shop Floor online
* Supporting line operators in changeovers
* Collect and remove all packaging as required
* Work closely with the daily plan to ensure enough packaging for each SKU
* Support on the line if required (Packing)

* Understanding of KPIs (production targets, waste levels, line performance)
Recruitment process
Assessments include aptitude and workplace English tests (~minutes). Interviews are competency-based (~minutes).
