We're seeking a Sales Support Administrator who is passionate about delivering outstanding service. Reporting to the Pricing & Support Team Leader, you'll provide professional, efficient pricing support to our brokers for bespoke and corporate tendering.
Key Details
* Deliver pricing and support requests within SLAs for Brokers and Account Managers
* Provide accurate pricing in line with requirements and secure the best rates from suppliers through strong relationship management.
* Build & maintain excellent internal/external relationships to ensure a streamlined service and effective resolution of pricing requests.
* Escalate supplier discrepancies/SLA issues appropriately and identify and report on any efficiency improvements within the process
* Support Account Managers with reporting, pricing, tender organisation and accurate system updates
* Liaise regularly with suppliers, primarily by phone to obtain, confirm and chase pricing and product information
* Keep abreast of current market issues collecting competitor/supplier intelligence
* Plan daily activities effectively and maintain accurate tender status updates, ensuring suppliers are informed of any changes
Key Requirements
* At least 2 years in an administrative and customer service/sales support role
* Ability to work well under pressure remaining calm and focused
* A confident, friendly and professional telephone manner is essential
* The ability to retain information and build up a good product knowledge base
* Demonstratable history of building exceptional external relationships
* Have a passion to deliver outstanding service
* Ability to negotiate cost and service provision at various levels
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required along with English GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
* Organised and efficient at managing high workloads and changing priorities
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (specifically Excel)
* Experience in the Utilities Industry is highly desirable but not essential
* Previous exposure in a sales environment preferred
