Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Posting Clerk to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience and a solid understanding of clerical duties. This role involves managing data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective communication within the office environment. The Posting Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities

* Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Maintain and organise files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible
* Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Assist with administrative duties as required, including typing correspondence and reports
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for various clerical tasks
* Process invoices and manage basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
* Support other administrative staff as needed to meet departmental goals

Qualifications

* Previous office or clerical experience is essential
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy
* Experience with data entry and maintaining databases is highly desirable
* Knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage but not mandatory
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively within the team
