Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage bookkeeping services in an accurate and timely manner.
* Ensure all client work is completed within applicable lodgement and work schedule deadlines.
* Record clients’ financial transactions
* Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners.
* Complete VAT returns and file VAT returns online.
* Manage profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* File historical records and retrieve necessary documents as needed.
* Record cash receipts and handling bank deposits
* Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.
* Ensure timesheets are completed daily and submitted weekly.
* Ensure client assignments are completed in line with all relevant accounting and accounting standards.
Knowledge and experience:
1. Previous professional practice experience
2. Solid understanding of accounting software
3. Good knowledge of Xero
4. Proficient experience with Sage Line 50
5. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
