Role
As a Senior Account Director at Bray Leino, you’ll play a key role in leading some of our most valued client relationships and driving growth across our Food and Drink portfolio. Working closely with senior Clients, you’ll act as a trusted partner — helping to shape their communications strategy, champion creative excellence, and deliver commercial results.
You’ll take ownership of major accounts, supported by a talented account management team, ensuring exceptional work is delivered at every stage. From briefing and planning to delivery and reporting, you’ll lead multi‑disciplinary teams across strategy, media, and creative to develop campaigns that inspire, perform, and make an impact.
As a Senior Account Director, you’ll have a focus on contributing to our agency’s broader success in the Food and Drink sector — spotting opportunities for growth, leading pitches, and supporting new business initiatives across the wider MISSION Group.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead key Client accounts, supported by the account management team, ensuring strong delivery and client satisfaction
 * Build and maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with senior Client stakeholders and potential Client leads
 * Drive growth and profitability across accounts, identifying new opportunities within Bray Leino and the wider MISSION Group
 * Collaborate with strategic and media planners to shape effective, measurable communication and channel plans
 * Partner with creative, planning, and activation teams to ensure work is developed and delivered to the highest standard
 * Develop Client proposals and account plans, drawing on input from relevant specialists
 * Negotiate Client contracts and fees in partnership with senior agency leadership
 * Provide leadership, direction, and professional development to direct reports, promoting a high‑performing and motivated team
 * Manage team workload and resources to ensure flexibility and delivery across fluctuating Client needs
 * Oversee account finances, ensuring accurate reporting and strong revenue management
 * Stay informed on industry trends and insights, sharing relevant updates with Clients and internal teams
 * Collaborate with the New Growth team to evaluate and lead new business opportunities and pitch responses
About The Person
 * You’re a confident and collaborative client leader who combines strategic thinking with commercial awareness and creative flair
 * Bring solid experience leading major client accounts within a marketing, advertising, or integrated agency environment and specifically with Food and Drink account
 * Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a proactive, solutions‑focused partner
 * Lead, mentor, and inspire teams to deliver excellent work and encourage a positive, high‑performing culture
 * Are commercially astute, managing budgets, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for growth
 * Communicate clearly and persuasively, with strong presentation and influencing skills
 * Stay curious — keeping on top of market trends and emerging opportunities to drive results
