Role: Assistant Property Manager - North Region

Location: North
Malmaison and Hotel du Vin have 37 boutique hotels across the UK. This position supports 18 properties in the North Region, from Manchester to Aberdeen, with regular travel between sites and potential support across other regions based on business needs.
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property & Development team. This role involves overseeing operational and maintenance activities, vendor management, compliance, budgeting, and promoting sustainability.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate daily property operations, support maintenance teams, conduct hotel visits, and ensure safety protocols.
2. Assist the Property Manager in leading Maintenance Managers and their teams.
3. Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely service and contractual compliance.
4. Monitor property expenditure, track budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
5. Conduct property inspections and audits for health, safety, and regulatory compliance; support safety procedures and audit actions.
6. Support ESG initiatives, including energy efficiency and waste management, with data collection and reporting.
7. Coordinate property projects, repairs, and renovations, liaising with contractors and internal teams.
8. Maintain records of maintenance and inspections, providing updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience in property or maintenance management within hospitality preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of construction, Hard FM, and project management.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Understanding of health & safety regulations.
* Vendor management experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CAFM, and compliance portals.
* Proactive process improvement mindset.
* Willingness to travel nationally.
