Main Duties:
* To support the Private Clients Manager and Client Directors in the provision of excellent service to the Private Clients
* Liaison with colleagues in Finance, Sales, Compliance as required and meeting required KPI’s and timescales for delegated tasks
* Attendance at internal, Client and Insurer meetings as required.
* The Private Client Broker will ensure the team maintains required CPD requirements of the company
* Preparation of renewal and new business. Risk registers and presentations in line with agreed timescales.
* Effective resolution of customer and insurer queries via the tele and email.
* Marketing of risks to insurers.
* Liaising with colleagues in claims, sales and finance to achieve required outcomes.
* Processing of all necessary documentation for new, existing and renewal business.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required:
* As a Private Client Broker you will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.
* Proven ability to work with senior colleagues in a collaborative manner.
* Proven ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally
* Proven ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate and influence
* Experience of adhering to and maintaining systems and procedures
Education / Training / Qualifications:
* Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
* Proficient with Acturis back office system will be an advantage.
* Proficient with dealing with High Net Worth insurance.
