What will you do?
Play and test games thoroughly. We need you to be proactive and meticulous. As a perfectionist, you will identify linguistic bugs and report them using bug databases, communicating clearly in English across global boundaries.
What would you do at work?
* Ensure games and applications provide the best user experience by being free of linguistic bugs.
* Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy, correctness, and cultural appropriateness.
* Learn and follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and standards, optimized over the years to be industry-leading.
* Use industry-standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports, demonstrating trustworthiness and quality focus.
* Take ownership to ensure bugs are fixed and correctly implemented.
* Become an LQA expert across a range of projects from indie to AAA, with areas of specialization.
* Manage, create, and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle, including documenting testing practices and reporting methods.
* Participate in gathering test requirements with developers to support comprehensive testing.
* Seek continuous improvement, take ownership of additional activities, and enhance work efficiencies.
* Collaborate with the QA team effectively.

* Ongoing improvement and mastery of LQA workflows and techniques.
Requirements
You are a great match if you:
* Are an expert in Italian.
* Have proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Are passionate about video games.
* Are a team player capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Are proactive, persistent, and enthusiastic.
* Have a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality.
* Are proficient with computers, including MS Office Suite, database handling, and record keeping.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
It’s useful if you have some of the following, but training can be provided if not:
* Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
* Experience with LQA software tools such as test case management and text editing tools.
* Knowledge of CAT tools like MemoQ.
* Understanding of the video game industry and trends.
* Higher degree in linguistics (desirable but not essential).
