Qualified Social Worker

Pay rate: £43 per hour
Our client is looking for qualified Adult Social Workers to join the Adults Team. We seek experienced and passionate Social Workers to be part of this team.
All candidates must have previous experience in Adult Social Care and a good understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act, and Mental Health Act. The team handles hospital transfer and discharge cases, referrals, and complex safeguarding cases. Successful candidates will work across two hospitals within the authority, conducting Care Act assessments, safeguarding work, multi-agency collaboration, and fulfilling duty functions.
Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, guided by the values and principles of social care, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. You will use your professional knowledge and experience to make assessments and determine appropriate interventions. With your significant Social Work experience and excellent communication skills, you will establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet their needs.
You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes through your interventions. Using best practices, you will strive to deliver the best outcomes for individuals and their families, with a focus on protecting the most vulnerable and operating efficiently.
Ideal candidate will be:
* Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
* SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree; creative, flexible, and forward-thinking
* Experience working in a Social Services Directorate or statutory/voluntary agency
* Dedicated to continuous improvement for the best outcomes
* Excellent mediation and negotiation skills
* Experience with various client groups within an agency
* Skilled in building meaningful relationships with children and families
* Committed to high-quality service provision
* Experienced in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
* Knowledge of social work legislation
* 4+ years qualified
