Elevation Recruitment Group is working on behalf of a well‑established leading logistics business to recruit a Warehouse Manager to run their site in Doncaster. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving warehouse performance, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency and leading a strong operational team.
It’s a very exciting time to join as the business is going through rapid growth, seeing turnover increase by 50% on last year, and this key strategic role will play a big part in major projects planned for early 2026.
The Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of all day‑to‑day warehouse activity, ensuring resources, people, and processes are managed effectively. You will work closely with senior leadership to maintain smooth operations and deliver agreed performance targets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, developing and motivating the warehouse team to achieve service and performance targets
* Overseeing goods‑in, picking, dispatch and stock control to ensure full and timely deliveries
* Managing labour planning, including agency use, holidays and absence cover
* Monitoring and improving KPIs across cost, efficiency, safety and service levels
* Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, environmental and quality standards
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to support growth and efficiency
Hours:
8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
The Person
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who brings strong leadership skills and a hands‑on approach. You will be confident managing people, driving performance and maintaining high operational standards.
Ideal candidate will have:
* At least 5 years’ experience in warehouse management
* Strong knowledge of BRC and Food Safety standards (HACCP qualification preferred)
* Good understanding of warehouse systems
* Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
* 28 days holiday with flexible bank holidays
