Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton (CABB) is a leading provider of legal advice and information, supporting thousands of clients every year. We are a busy, client‑focused and dynamic service with a track record of delivering high quality advice face to face, over the phone and digitally.
Role Overview
This role provides direct line management to the following teams:
* Client Services Team – the initial access points for up to 80% of clients, handling client‑facing work at local town centre premises and processing online referral forms.
* Volunteer Team – led by two part‑time volunteer supervisors, a team of 30 volunteers delivering advice over the phone and face to face, with over 6000 volunteering hours per year.
* Community Outreach Team – responsible for delivering community outreach advice sessions and representing CABB in local meetings, building relationships with key stakeholders.
Collectively, these teams support over 16,000 clients in 2025‑2026, providing information, guidance and advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and enhance the service provided by the Client Services, Volunteer, and Community Outreach teams.
* Ensure high‑quality information, guidance and advice are delivered to clients when accessed through our services.
* Collaborate with the Delivery Leadership Team, a well‑established group of managers responsible for specialist advice areas.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve client access and remove barriers to advice.
