At Bill Skinner Jewellery, we don’t just design accessories — we tell stories.
From enchanted gardens to curious creatures and nostalgic British charm, our pieces are rich with character, detail, and imagination. We’re looking for a freelance jewellery designer who shares that sense of wonder — someone who can bring ideas to life in a way that feels both playful and beautifully crafted.

Bill Skinner Jewellery
The Role
You’ll collaborate with our team to create new designs and collections that feel unmistakably Bill Skinner — expressive, narrative-led, and full of personality.
This isn’t about minimal basics. We’re looking for someone who loves detail, storytelling, and a little bit of magic.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Dreaming up original concepts inspired by nature, nostalgia, and storytelling
* Sketching distinctive, characterful jewellery designs (hand‑drawn or digital)
* Building visual worlds through mood boards and references
* Developing ideas into production‑ready designs
* Collaborating closely with our team to refine and evolve collections
* Balancing creativity with commercial awareness
Who You Are
* A jewellery designer with a strong, recognisable illustration style
* Someone who naturally designs with narrative, charm, and personality
* Confident turning ideas into designs that can be manufactured
* Detail‑obsessed — you care about texture, colour, and finish
* Comfortable working independently, but open to collaboration and feedback
Bonus Points If You…
* Have experience in fashion or costume jewellery
* Understand plating, materials, and production processes
* Have worked with manufacturers before
* Bring a love of British heritage, nature, or storytelling into your work
How We Work
Flexible, freelance, and collaborative.
We’re a small, passionate team — and we care deeply about what we create.
