Overview
Hours: Full time, year-round (8.00am–5.00pm, Monday to Friday in term time; 9.30am–4.30pm during school holidays)
Role: Emanuel School is seeking an experienced and professional PA to provide high-level support to our Operations Director. This is a busy and rewarding position at the centre of school life, requiring excellent organisation, discretion and the confidence to manage multiple priorities with ease.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a demanding diary for the Operations Director, preparing agendas and minutes for key committees, drafting correspondence, and acting as a first point of contact for colleagues and external stakeholders.
* Provide support to the Business & Lettings Manager and take a lead in line managing the Receptionist and Resources Officer.
* Oversee the school’s estate, health and safety, and assist with commercial activities and major projects as required.
About You
* Highly capable PA with proven experience supporting at senior level.
* Confident handling sensitive information; able to manage competing demands and remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
* Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and advanced IT proficiency (particularly Microsoft Office and SharePoint).
* Ability to build strong working relationships across the school community, with resilience, flexibility and a positive approach.
