Your new role
We are seeking a part‑time SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team. This role is ideal if you’re looking for flexibility while still making a meaningful difference.You will:
1. Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
2. Work across Primary and Secondary classrooms, adapting to different age groups and learning levels.
3. Assist teachers with tailored learning plans linked to EHCP targets.
4. Encouragemunication, social interaction, and independence.
5. Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or youth work backgrounds considered).
7. Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
8. Strongmunication and teamwork skills.
9. Flexibility to work across both Primary and Secondary age groups.
10. Amitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
