Private Client Legal Assistant
Our client is a recognized full-service law firm based in Maidenhead, known for providing top-tier legal services. It is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its esteemed Private Client team.
The team comprises of two experienced Private Client, Wills & Probate fee earners.
Department specialises in:
* Drafting complex and simple wills
* Tax planning and related advice
* Lasting powers of attorney
* Court of protection work
* Administration of estates and trusts for high-net-worth individuals
Role Responsibilities:
As a Private Client Legal Assistant, you will:
* Ensure smooth and efficient team operations through general administration
* Perform dictation and audio typing
* Complete simple Lasting Powers of Attorney documents
* Manage diaries, emails and documents
* Utilize Microsoft Word proficiently
* Handle basic accounting administration and invoicing using templates
* Work with Excel spreadsheets and formulas
* Utilize PowerPoint (advantageous but not essential)
What We're Looking For:
* A commercial legal background (preferred)
* Excellent secretarial and administrative skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* High accuracy, organization, approachability, confidentiality and flexibility
* A typing speed of 70 WPM
