What will the Financial Controller role involve?
Leading the financial management function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting aligned with business goals, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Overseeing the integrity of the balance sheet, including reconciliation processes and ensuring all financial data is fully evidenced and understood.
Managing statutory and regulatory compliance, including liaising with auditors and handling all aspects of external reporting.
Driving cash flow planning, forecasting, and optimisation to ensure sustainable financial health.
Supporting project financials and departmental budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to influence business growth.
Enhancing internal processes through continual review and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Leading, developing, and motivating the finance team to deliver high standards of performance.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a complex or fast-growing organisation.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
