Cambridge & Oxford Alumni Tours is seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to join our growing premium tour business as we expand into education, tech, and luxury travel. You’ll work directly with our Founder to help scale the company, refine operations, and launch new brands across the UK and beyond.
We’re looking for someone who’s not just a doer, but a thinker. You should be capable of executing day-to-day operations while also offering strategic insight, challenging assumptions, and driving improvement.
🎓 Strong ties to Cambridge or Oxford University are essential. An ideal candidate may be a Judge Business School graduate, with experience in tourism, business management, and an appetite for entrepreneurship.
What You'll Do:
✅ Manage daily tour operations in Cambridge & Oxford
✅ Lead and mentor high-performing sales and guide teams
✅ Work closely with the Founder to launch new services and locations
✅ Play a strategic role in shaping our sub-brands in education and AI tech
✅ Uphold excellence in customer experience, staffing, and logistics
✅ Offer ideas and improvements to help us grow smarter and faster
What You Bring:
* Degree in Business or Management; Cambridge MBA is a plus
* 3+ years in general management, tourism, or startup leadership
* Strong academic, cultural, or professional link to Cambridge or Oxford
* Track record of entrepreneurial thinking and project ownership
* Clear communicator, empathetic leader, and results-oriented operator
