Barker Ross Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established contractor based in Derby, who are currently seeking an Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a range of exciting projects, ranging from £20k to £9m in value, across both fit-out and main contracting works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor on live projects to ensure smooth delivery.
* Attend client site meetings to understand project requirements and provide updates.
* Prepare costings and pricing for works, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Experience & Skills:
* Previous experience in an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Familiarity with Congius software is desirable, but not essential (full training will be provided).
* Strong communication skills to interact with clients and project teams.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
