About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our surgeries. You'll be based across two dynamic practices in Reading, helping us deliver high-quality care in a welcoming and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Patient Support: Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion.
* Appointments: Manage bookings efficiently to optimize clinician time.
* Communication: Handle phone calls and respond to queries with clarity and care.
* Administration: Maintain accurate patient records, scan documents, and process information.
* Practice Operations: Support the day-to-day running of both surgeries.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Customer Service: A warm, helpful attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Communication: Clear verbal and written communication.
* Organization: Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
* IT Skills: Comfortable using computers; experience with EMIS Web is a plus.
* Experience: Previous work in healthcare, reception, or customer service is preferred.
