CNC Milling Setter/Operator (Heidenhain)
Day Shift | Up to £20 per hour + Overtime (x1.25)
We are looking for a skilled CNC Milling Setter/Operator to join a long-established precision engineering business with a strong reputation across the automotive, motorsport, aerospace, foundry, and heritage vehicle sectors.
With over two decades of industry experience and significant ongoing investment in modern CNC technology, this company offers the chance to work on 3-axis, 3+2 axis, and 5-axis machining projects using state-of-the-art machining centres and advanced CAM software. You'll be joining a friendly, growing team with plenty of opportunities for progression.
The Role
Setting and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain control)
Editing programs on the machine (advantageous, but not essential)
Working on Mazak and Bridgeport machines
Using WorkNC CAM software for complex machining requirements
Producing precision components across a wide variety of industries
Maintaining excellent surface finishes on materials such as aluminium, tool steel, plastics, and model board About You
Experienced CNC Setter/Operator with a background in milling
Skilled in Heidenhain controls (essential)
Ability to edit at the machine (preferred but not required)
A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality work
Positive team player with a proactive attitude What's On Offer
