As an ASIC Design engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in the vibrant city of Portsmouth. The city offers a rich history, lively culture, and excellent amenities, with easy access to green spaces and good transport links.
The Role
You will join a company that provides a broad range of IP, including CPUs, high-performance DSPs, memory and IO controllers, hardware accelerators, and subsystem solutions, widely adopted across the semiconductor industry and found in billions of chips shipped annually.
Your responsibilities will include developing and designing reference systems for applications such as Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Radar, and Automotive sectors. You will leverage your expertise in IP integration and SoC/compute system implementation, working closely with development teams to build and demonstrate complete solutions.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and debug SoC reference systems.
* Integrate compute, memory, and interface IP in system designs.
* Analyze IP products and implementation flows.
* Identify and implement best practices in hardware design and verification to improve efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
* BS in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science with 8+ years’ work experience, or MS in EE/CS with 5+ years’ experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in ASIC design AND verification.
* Expertise in processor design, on-chip communication and interconnects, high-speed interfaces, or chiplets.
* Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog for coding and verification.
* RTL design techniques expertise.
* Experience with UVM for ASIC verification.
* FPGA or emulation experience is desirable.
