is seeking to appoint a 
People Services Lead
Full time (35 hours) with part time options available
Salary: £39,800 - £44,000
The post is based at DEMAT’s central offices in Ely with some travel to our academies across the Trust and hybrid working arrangements depending upon working pattern
As one of the largest primary school Multi-Academy Trusts in the country DEMAT have 38 academies spanning across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk, and Suffolk. We share a passion to build the foundations to create successful futures for our pupils, our staff, and our communities. 
Our academies receive support on people related matters and this role is an opportunity to oversee a critical part of this.
We are looking for a People Services Lead to oversee HR Administration, payroll, systems and the end to end transactional experiences that we deliver. You will play a key role in supporting our People Strategy and through collaboration with colleagues ensure our vision is achieved. You will support our fantastic team to ensure that best practice people administration becomes fully embedded across the Trust.
You will support our HR Administrators and Payroll in delivering a proactive service whilst promoting and demonstrating DEMAT’s values. As our team continues to develop the service, this role is critical to ensure that our schools are supported with all people related activities and our people related projects and aspirations are delivered in a timely manner.
The ability to forge strong working relationships, balance and prioritise skills are essential to be able to provide proactive advice and guidance on a range of matters including Contracts of Employment, associated paperwork and support to our academies on their Single Central Registers.
The successful applicant will:
