Do you want the opportunity to work in our newly transformed adult Community Mental Health Team? We have an opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to join our team working.
We are a caring, compassionate team based across two locations in Stratford Upon Avon and Leamington Spa.
The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team providing mental health services to individuals with various diagnoses such as psychosis, personality disorder, depression, etc.
You will receive training and supervision to support your role, along with opportunities to attend our nurses forum for your CPD development.
The post involves responsibility for delivering services to clients and their families through evidence-based interventions. The role includes medication management, patient assessments, and duty responsibilities. We are exploring specialist roles to maximize staff skills and interests.
There is potential to supervise junior staff, and develop leadership and clinical skills, depending on your career path.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
1. Provide the nursing perspective and participate in the multidisciplinary team to implement, evaluate, and review care plans.
2. Support physical health and wellbeing of service users and advise service providers to ensure respectful and rights-based access to services.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions supporting recovery and wellbeing.
4. Manage a caseload and deliver tailored interventions to meet individual needs.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current unrestricted registration with NMC
* Relevant degree or diploma
* Specialist procedural and theoretical knowledge
Knowledge and Skills
* Understanding of policies, procedures, and equal opportunities
* Knowledge of confidentiality and safety protocols
* Problem-solving skills applicable to various situations
Experience
* Significant experience in community mental health care
* Specialist knowledge gained in a similar setting
* Proven people management experience
