We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Agent to support a major infrastructure project in Inverness-shire.
The role will be office-based initially, transitioning to site as works progress, and offers a long-term opportunity on a well-established project.
The Role
You’ll take a key role in the day-to-day management of site activities, working closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating site teams and subcontractors
Overseeing quality, safety, and environmental compliance
Producing and maintaining project documentation (RAMS, ITPs, management plans)
Leading site, subcontractor, and client meetings
Supporting programme management, NCRs, TQs, and general project controls
Contributing to commercial and contractual processes where required

About You
Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of site management, QA, and H&S processes
Confident communicator with experience chairing meetings and coordinating teams
Comfortable managing documentation, programmes, and site reporting
Able to commit to a long-term freelance assignment
