Finance Manager - Temporary - Stockport - Up to £55,000 On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business for a maternity cover. This role is to start immediately. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reports for senior management. * Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting. * Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors and accountants. * Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls. * Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and on time. * Ensure all statutory deductions (PAYE, NI, pension, etc.) are calculated and submitted correctly. * Maintain and update payroll records, including employee benefits, bonuses, and leave. * Liaise with HR on employee changes, new starters, and leavers. * Reconcile payroll control accounts. * Oversee the full sales ledger process, including raising invoices and maintaining accurate records. * Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments. * Reconcile customer accounts and handle queries professionally. * Oversee supplier invoices, approvals, and payments. * Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
