• The nature of the work varies but your work is likely to involve strategic options analysis and evaluation, designing strategic business models, commercial modelling, strategic productivity improvement, harnessing innovation, and turning strategy into reality.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, policies and technologies in the NHS, working with the wider healthcare account to contribute to the creation and development of market eminence materials and support business development efforts.
• Actively participate in team initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Connect to your skills and professional experience Essentials:
• Experience in a strategy, transformation or policy formulation/delivery role in the public sector healthcare and/or life sciences sector; or proven experience in strategy consulting, with exposure to the public sector healthcare and/or life sciences industry
• Exposure to strategy, transformation or policy formation/delivery in one or more of the following areas: integrated care; population health management; digital care; future health infrastructure; future health workforce & automation; payment & incentives in healthcare/value-based care; or data & analytics.
• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience of working on projects which involve strategic decision-making and choice
• Demonstrable experience of managing stakeholder relationships
• Ability to think creatively to solve client issues
• Structured thinking and the ability to break down complex issues
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to undertake analysis and generate insights and recommendations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor a message to them audience
• Flexibility to travel Desirables:
• Degree in a relevant scientific field, e.g. Public Health.
• A clinical background combined with strategy, transformation or policy development experience.
• Experience working on high profile projects, e.g. those including public consultation.
• Experience in analytics in a public sector healthcare environment.
