About Rotagap
Rotagap helps healthcare organisations fill gaps in their rota more efficiently by maximising internal fill and managing agency supply - as a neutral vendor in one unified platform.
As demand for workforce optimisation continues to grow across health and social care, we’re scaling rapidly and entering a new commercial phase focused on expansion, revenue growth, and building a high-performance sales engine
That’s where you come in.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on sales role focused on sourcing, nurturing, and closing new opportunities. You’ll play a key part in our growth story, owning your own pipeline while contributing to the wider commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
The role involves generating new business across healthcare and social care organisations, taking full ownership of outbound outreach, discovery calls, product demonstrations, proposals, and negotiations. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline through disciplined CRM usage, ensuring activity is structured, measurable, and aligned to forecast expectations. Success will be defined by consistent delivery against monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Market Engagement
You will identify and prioritise target accounts based on demand, readiness, and return on investment, focusing efforts where the greatest commercial impact can be made. Building strong relationships with operational leaders and decision-makers is essential, positioning Rotagap’s value clearly around efficiency, compliance, and workforce optimisation. Insights gathered from customers will be fed back to Product and Leadership to support continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Handover
Working closely with the Marketing team, you will assist with demand generation activity and ensure timely follow-up on inbound and campaign-led opportunities. Collaboration with Customer Success is also central to the role, ensuring a smooth handover into onboarding and a positive post-sale experience that sets the foundation for long-term retention.
Sales Process & Continuous Improvement
You will maintain high standards of CRM usage, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting accuracy, ensuring every opportunity is tracked and progressed effectively. The role also supports the introduction and refinement of repeatable processes across outreach, discovery, follow-up, and closing. You will contribute recommendations to enhance the proposition, messaging, and qualification approach, helping to strengthen overall conversion rates.
Reporting & Accountability
Clear and consistent reporting is key. You will provide weekly updates on activity levels, pipeline progression, and commercial performance, aligned with agreed targets. Meeting KPIs across outreach volume, conversion ratios, and deal progression will form an important part of ongoing accountability and success measurement.
