We are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, a leading automotive business based in Boston, for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary 3-month period. This full-time role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Key Responsibilities · Process purchase ledger invoices and credit notes accurately and promptly · Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and assist with payment runs · Resolve supplier queries and maintain strong professional relationships · Provide ad hoc finance support, including payment allocation or sales ledger postings where required About You · Minimum of 1 year’s experience in purchase ledger, bookkeeping, credit control, or similar finance roles · Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail · Confident in handling queries face-to-face, over the phone, and via email · Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) · Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, and maintain accuracy · Experience with ADP is advantageous but full training will be provided · Automotive or car dealership experience is desirable but not essential Why Join Us? · Immediate start available · Work within a supportive and approachable finance team · Gain valuable experience in purchase ledger and broader finance functions · Friendly, fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and develop Salary: £12.71/hour How to Apply This Purchase Ledger Clerk role is advertised on behalf of Pertemps, who operate as a recruitment agency.
