Sales Manager - Flexible Workspace - Belfast, Exclusive
If you’re a natural relationship-builder who prefers meaningful conversations over hard selling, this role could be a great fit. Abacus is exclusively managing a critical appointment for a leading property brand in Belfast. This role will suit a “consultative seller”, someone who can manage a premium brand, enjoys understanding businesses, solving problems and helping organisations find the right and warm space to grow — not just “closing deals” or hitting a cold KPI.
The Focus
This is a varied, people-focused role where you will manage a pipeline of existing and new clients which reflects exciting business start-ups, SMEs and global brands. You will guide prospective members from first enquiry through to move-in and beyond, building genuine relationships along the way.
* Respond to enquiries and meet prospective members in person
* Show people around the workspace and help them picture their team there
* Understand each organisation’s needs and recommend the right solution
* Manage the pricing strategy, manage margins and prepare proposals, negotiate terms and manage agreements and licences
* Stay connected with members to support retention and growth, manage key member accounts post-sale, identifying retention, upsell and expansion opportunities and attend members events
* Spot opportunities for additional space, services or referrals
* Build relationships with agents, brokers and local business networks
* Represent the company at events and within the Belfast business community
* Own the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate CRM management, reporting and forecasting to the Head of Sales
* Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, collateral and lead generation initiatives across all products.
The Person

The ideal person will likely offer:
* Around 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales or client-facing roles
* A consultative approach — you listen first, sell second
* Confidence speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers
* Operate as a connector, offering strong relationship-management skillsProactively generate new business through outbound activity, targeted sales campaigns and be a brand ambassador via events and business networks e.g. Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business, CBI, etc.
* Commercial awareness without being pushy
* Good organisation and follow-through
* A proactive, self-motivated mindset
* Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
It would be great (but not essential) if you also have:
* Experience in serviced offices, property, hospitality or other service-led sectors
* Knowledge of the Belfast / NI business landscape
* Experience working with agents, brokers or professional advisors
* A background in premium brands or membership-based services
