This role involves overseeing the coordination and execution of temporary work assignments, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining effective communication between team members and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of temporary staff for specific projects or tasks.
Match the right temporary workers with the appropriate roles based on their skills and availability.
Maintain an up-to-date roster of temporary workers and their assignments.
Ensure that temporary workers understand and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Conduct briefings on safety guidelines and the importance of compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor the work environment to ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Serve as the main point of contact for temporary workers and management.
Regularly check in with temporary staff to ensure they are performing as expected and address any concerns or issues.
Provide updates and reports to management on work progress, staffing needs, and potential challenges.
Maintain records of temporary worker hours, performance evaluations, and any incidents or safety reports.
Assist in onboarding new temporary workers, including documentation, training, and orientation.
Coordinate timesheets and process payroll for temporary workers.
Address any immediate challenges or issues that arise during work assignments, including resolving conflicts or unanticipated delays.
