ENGINEERING SALES ADMIN – Littlehampton, West Sussex
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within high-spec engineering environments, supplying into sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace and Defence. With a new Business Development Director joining the business, the Engineering Sales Admin will play a key role in supporting the commercial function and acting as a link between sales, engineering and production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Engineering Sales Admin will support the full sales cycle from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring accuracy across quotations, technical documentation and order processing. The role involves acting as a key point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, coordinating internally with engineering teams, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with customer expectations.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in a Sales / Sales Admin / Sales Support / Commercial Coordinator role
* Must have worked within a technical or engineering environment
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Experience preparing quotes, proposals and processing sales orders
* Ability to liaise with customers on order status, delivery and specifications
* Experience working alongside engineering or technical teams
* Strong communication skills (internal and external stakeholders)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and track orders through to completion
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* Experience managing CRM systems and maintaining customer records
* Exposure to technical documentation, datasheets or tender responses
* Understanding of order flow from enquiry through to delivery
* Ability to support reporting, KPIs and sales data analysis
* Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments

PACKAGE
£30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Day Shift (Mon‑Fri) Flexible Start/Finish Times
