Sellick Partnership are supporting an organisation to recruit for a Support Worker on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities of the Support Worker:
* Take a holistic approach to support the service and help people to move forward with the skills to be independent in managing on their own
* Work closely with other agencies around specific needs including mental health, substance misuse, benefits, private letting agents and landlords and/or others.
* Assist service users in exploring options around education, training, and employment
* Support a wide range of service users from varying backgrounds with varying support needs
* Maintain records and putting into place action plans
Essential Criteria of the Support Worker:
* Enhanced DBS (adults and children) on the update service
* Driving license and access to own vehicles
* Previously worked with people affected by homelessness
